Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Tuesday declared that politics of chaos has no value before the journey of public service. “The opposition neither has any agenda, nor any program for welfare of the masses, he regretted.”
CM Usman Buzdar was talking to Federal Minister Sahibzada Mahboob Sultan, MNA Raza Nasrullah and MPAs – Samiullah Ch, Sher Akbar Khan and Rana Shahbaz Ahmad who called on him. They apprised the CM of the problems being faced by people in their respective constituencies.
The CM assured them of early solution to these problems. Usman Buzdar made it clear that the people will not be deceived by the looters entering political arena with a falsified identity and PDM’s evil object of creating chaos in the country will not be materialised. The looters’ cabal assembled under the opposition alliance can’t deceive the people, he said. It is deplorable that the opposition tried political point-scoring to inveigle the masses, he added.
The chief minister mentioned that both PPP and PML-N raised hollow slogans and made a dacoity on the rights of the common man to fill their own coffers.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar directed the RPO Bahawalpur to arrest the criminals involved in torture and chopping leg of a woman in Yazman tehsil. He also directed provision of best treatment facilities to the injured woman.
Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar chaired a meeting about celebration of Shane Rahmatul Alameen (PBUH) Week from November 13.
The CM directed to celebrate the week in a befitting manner, adding that the celebrations will be held at different levels along with holding of mehfil-e-na’at and mehfil-e-sama at Alhamra Complex, Qaddafi Stadium. A separate mehfil-e-milad will be held for the women while the calligraphic exhibition will be arranged at Bagh-e-Jinnah. The CM said international mashaikh and ulema convention will be held under the aegis of the auqaf department. An international qira’at conference will also be held along with na’atia and declamation contests in educational institutions.
The CM said Rahmatul Alameen Scholarship has been set up with an amount of Rs500 million. Rahmatul Alameen (SAWW) Chair will be established in divisional universities along with the provision of scholarships for research on the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) in international universities. Another Rs250 million will be utilized for giving stipends to position-holders and Rahmatul Alameen Scholarships will be given to needy matriculates for further studies. Along with it, short documentaries will be produced on the blessed life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) and the best documentary will be aired through TV channels and social media along with English and French subtitles.
