Administrator Iftikhar Ali Shallwani left for Istanbul on Sunday to review the tram service system and facilities in Turkey
He will meet during the visit relevant officers and representatives of tram service companies.
The project will be implemented under public-private partnership in Karachi.
The Administrator will also meet prospective partners interested in starting tram service in Karachi.
Shallwani told media that he will review the tram service system and facilities in Turkey
Director General Parks Taha Saleem, Senior Director Municipal Services Syed Salahuddin also accompanied him to Istanbul.
The service, libraries and educational and technical facilities provided to the youth and issues of mutual interest between the two countries will also be reviewed during the visit. Tram service is running successfully in different cities of Turkey.
