Newly-elected PBA body greeted

Zeeshan Altaf Lohya, Executive Director, 7 News Sindh, has congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA).
Welcoming the Chairman Mian Amir Mahmood, Vice Chairmen Mir Ibrahim-ur-Rehman and Salman Iqbal, Secretary General Shakeel Masood, Joint Secretary Ahmed Zubair and Finance Secretary Muhammad Athar Qazi, Lohya expressed the hope that newly elected office-bearers will save media industry from this incumbent crisis as it is the representative organization of broadcasters.
The Executive Director 7 News Sindh viewed that this is a tough time for the entire media industry, especially for TV channels and media houses were going through the worst financial crisis.
Mr Lohya said that media owners were facing many challenges, including timely payment of salaries of journalists and media workers, but he anticipated that only strong leadership of PBA can deal with these issues effectively.
