Spokesperson for Sindh Government and Adviser to CM for Law, Environment and Coastal Development Barrister Murtaza Wahab while participating in the tree planting campaign at YMCA Ground in collaboration with Bohri community as a special guest said that we have to make the city green and lush. He said that he was grateful to Bohri community who have always supported him in tree planting and other charitable works. “We will extend the scope of tree planting campaign from Karachi to Kashmore. If we all plant one plant at a time, it can beautify our environment.” Wahab said that encroachments on YMCA ground have been removed in the light of the directions of the Supreme Court and we want the people here to have fun in this ground. He said that Sindh government is spending Rs. 50 million on YMCA ground and we want the citizens to enjoy it. In the past, there was dust everywhere and wedding ceremonies were held in this ground. The Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat is helping to restore the ground. He also has a role in greening in this ground and one thousand Pakistani trees are being planted in this ground. School children are also taking part in keeping this ground green. We want children to understand the importance of plants The advisor said that the fertilizer they are using in the ground is also interesting This fertilizer is being made from home-grown vegetables and garbage.Making our children aware of climate change and the effects of climate change in our schools suggests that our future is in safe hands. At the end of the ceremony, the Spokesperson of Sindh Government told reporters that he challenged Federal Minister Shibli Faraz to sit in front and speak. He said that Shibli Faraz was distorting the facts.
