The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday extended the bail of PML-N leader and husband of Maryam Nawaz Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar as his case could not be heard due to a strike by lawyers. Talking to newsmen in Peshawar, Captain Safdar said as many as 300 inquiries were conducted against him but nothing came out from any of them. He claimed: “I have been victimized because of revengeful actions and now is the time to make amendments in the National Accountability Bureau.” He demanded setting up universities in NAB offices.—INP
