Three persons were killed and one another injured in three different incidents in various parts of Attock district on Wednesday. In first incident, a money changer was shot dead in day broad light robbery incident near Kashmiri gate in limits of Hazro Police station.
Police while quoting eye witnesses said that 55 years old Sabir Hussain- a money changer shop owner was taking cash from his home to his shop when he reached near Kashmiri gate in Sarafa bazaar, two masked robbers equipped with pistols intercepted him and snatched his money bag.
As he put resistance, the robbers shot him dead and fled successfully with cash worth Rs 0.2 million. In second incident, a female school teacher of local government crushed to death while her son was injured when a trailer rammed over them on Rawalpindi-Kohat road near Tajja Bara in limits of Fatehjang Police station.
Police and hospital sources said that the female teacher was going on duty at Kot Fateh Khan on motorcycle with her son Rizwan when he loses control while passing over a ditch and fell on the road resultantly a trailer rammed over them and she died on the spot while her son was injured.
In the third incident, body of a man in mutilated condition was found from Mehwara village in Kalla Chitta range in same police station limits. Police sources said that some shepherded has informed police about presence of body which has shifted it to THQ hospital for autopsy. Police sources said that the body was beyond recognition and handed over to TMA for burial. Respective police registered two separate cases and started further investigation.
