Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Akbar Ayub Khan Thursday directed that all the complaints received on the Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP) should be resolved immediately added the portal has been created for the purpose.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held at the Local Government Department on resolving the complaints received on the PCP. Secretary Local Council Board Khizar Hayat, Additional Secretary Javed Mehsud and other senior officials were present on the occasion. Provincial Minister for Local Government Akbar Ayub Khan while appreciating the performance of the LG Department said that the department is taking immediate action on the complaints received on PCP which is commendable.
He directed the officers to take immediate action on the complaints regarding construction of illegal buildings so that they could be eliminated. Akbar Ayub Khan said that efforts should be made to reply in the languages in which complaints are received so that the complainant can easily receive the reply. He said that a meeting would be convened every month to review the grievances so that he could resolve the grievances of the people under his own supervision.
