Bundal Island to be iconic city of country: Governor

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to build a new city on Bundle Island in order to run the economy, provide employment and bring investment. “We will build it, Allah willing.” He was talking to the business community on the occasion of a visit to the project site of world class high-rise towers to be launched soon on sea front under the HMR Group in DHA Phase 8. On arrival at the project site, Chairman HMR Group Haji Muhammad Rafiq Perdesi, Director Hasnain Perdesi received the Governor of Sindh. The little daughters of Hasnain Perdesi also presented bouquets to Imran Ismail. Talking to businessmen, the Governor said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has a vision of all support to the construction industry. “He knows that there are more than 70 other sectors associated with this industry. People’s employment is directly linked to it. When this industry runs, the wheel of the economy turns.” Imran Ismail said that with the same ideology, the Prime Minister has announced to build a new city on Bundle Island. “With the help of Almighty Allah and support of builders and investors the Bundle Island will become the iconic city of Pakistan. It is only a mile and a half away. Praising the services and character of Haji Muhammad Rafiq Perdesi, the Governor said he is an honest and Allah-fearing business person. Earlier, Haji Muhammad Rafiq Perdesi told the Governor that HMR Group was constructing 19 world class high-rise towers on 33 acres on Phase-8 DHA. The project will provide world class housing facilities to the people and will provide impetus to the construction industry. The leading businessman said according to the Prime Minister’s vision, this will go a long way in revitalizing the construction sector and the project will set a new trend in the real estate market. Construction of the project will begin soon, Pardesi added. On this occasion, General Secretary World Kashmir Forum and former Attorney General of Pakistan Anwar Mansoor Khan, Mohammad Rafiq Suleiman, Sheikh Rashid Alam, Director HMR Group Mohammad Hasnain Perdesi, Farhan Perdesi, Haji Abdul Samad Perdesi, Haji Anis Perdesi, Hassan Perdesi, Umair Perdesi, PTI MPAs Shehzad Qureshi, Khurram Sherzaman, Former MNA Rasheed Godil, former minister and Senior Vice Chairman Businessmen Panel Mian Zahid Hussain, Former caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan Allauddin Marri, CEO Toyota Motors Saleem Godil, Patron ABAD Mohsin Sheikhani, Chairman ABAD Fayyaz Ilyas, Former Chairman ABAD Hassan Bakhshi, renowned builder Zeeshan Zaki, Chairman America-Pakistan Business Development Forum Zeeshan Altaf Lohiya, General Secretary Syed Nasser Wajahat, Member Noman Ahmedani, Nadeem Maazji, President Bank Islami Syed Amir Ali, Director Mahmood Rashid, Chairman Pakistan Stock Exchange Sulaiman Mehdi, Director Star Marketing Mahmood Ahmad Khan, Governor Sindh’s brother Adnan Ismail, Naeem Khanani, former President KATI Farhan-ur-Rehman, Ashraf Grace, Rafiq Grace and other prominent personalities of the business community were also present. Before conclusion of the ceremony, Haji Muhammad Rafiq Perdesi and Hasnain Perdesi presented a memento to the Governor of Sindh.
