The Punjab government has rejected the statement of the PML-N leadership on the blockade of roads in Lahore. The Punjab government has publizised the agreement signed by PML-N leaders Pervez Malik and Khawaja Imran Nazir with the govt after surfacing the allegation of blocking the roads.
It was agreed in the agreement that Maryam Nawaz would reach Bhatti Chowk via Ada Plot Interchange from Jati Umra. Due to security concerns, Ada Plot Interchange will remain closed for all interchange traffic except Niazi Shaheed. It has been decided to keep the rest of the routes closed for security reasons. Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat said that the claim of PML-N to block roads in Lahore was wrong.
