Lahore CCPO orders arrest of CIA SP

Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Umar Sheikh on Thursday ordered the arrest of Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) SP Asim Iftikhar after a verbal clash.
According to sources, CCPO Umar Sheikh had summoned Asim Iftikhar at the safe city office for not taking him into confidence in the matter pertaining to the arrest of Abid Malhi – prime suspect of the motorway rape case. The CCPO exchanged heated words with Asim Iftikhar as he arrived late and ordered the officials to arrest him.
