Governor Sindh Imran Ismail visited Jamia Farooqia and offered his condolence to the son of Maulana Adil Khan Shaheed. He also prayed for patience to all his family members and followers. Member Sindh Assembly Saeed Afridi was also present on the occasion. The Governor Sindh said that with the martyrdom of Maulana Adil Khan, the country has lost a great religious figure and renowned scholar. Moulana Adil Shaheed always preached religious harmony and as such his religious contributions will always remind of him,he opined Later talking to media, Governor Sindh said that terrorist attack on Maulana Adil Khan Shaheed is a very sad incident, we have lost a very precious person. Maulana Adil Khan Shaheed always taught tolerance and religious harmony and was engaged in preaching of Islam till his last breath, he added. He further said the motive behind this target killing was to spread chaos but the government and the people are well aware of the conspiracies and nefarious designs of the enemies of the country. He said that all the institutions of Pakistan are on the same page. The enemy wants the law and order situation in the country to deteriorate but the government will not let them succeed, he assured. Replying to a question, the Sindh Governor said that the killers would be brought to justice soon and assured on behalf of the Prime Minister that the culprits would be arrested. He said that even in this hour of great grief, the message of peace and harmony from Jamia Farooqia was appreciable.
