PTI GB president dies of Corona

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Gilgit-Baltistan chapter president Justice (retd) Syed Jafar Shah died from Covid-19 in Islamabad on Saturday.
Accoding to Family sources Shah had been undergoing treatment for coronavirus after he was diagnosed with the repiratory virus a few days ago.
“He could not recover from the deadly virus as he had also some other throat related disease,” a relative said. According to political analysts, the 70-year old former judge of G-B supreme appellate court was the high potential candidate for next chief minister of G-B among other party members if the PTI won the upcoming elections in the region. He was contesting elections on PTI ticket from the constituency of (GBA Gilgit-3).
