Important decisions regarding the protest movement were taken at an important meeting of PML-N in Model Town Lahore.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of PML-N Punjab Rana Sanaullah in which divisional presidents and general secretaries of PML-N including Owais Leghari, Nadeem Kamran, Sheikh Aftab, Saira Afzal Tarar, Manshaullah Butt, Zeeshan Rafiq, Saud Majeed, Raja Qamarul Islam and others were present. Nawaz Sharif’s decision to launch a movement for the rule of law and the constitution in Pakistan was fully supported by the participants.
They expressed strong concerns over the retaliation against PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz.
A media committee comprising Maryam Aurangzeb, Azmi Bukhari, Divisional President Abid Ali and Khurram Mushtaq was formed on the Gujranwala meeting. Regarding the preparations for the meeting, it was informed that Rana Sanaullah will visit the meeting hall in Gujranwala on Saturday.
The meeting also decided to hold protests in Rawalpindi, Multan, DG Khan and Bahawalpur. An arrangement committee has also been set up for the meeting to be held in Lahore, Khawaja Salman Rafique and Pervez Malik were appointed conveners of the committee.
Other members of the committee include Malik Ahmad Khan, Samiullah Khan, Mian Margoob, Mian Noman, Saif al-Muluk Khokhar, Rana Mubashir, Rana Arshad, Sheikh Wasim, Pir Ashraf Rasool and Imran Nazir. According to details, Saud Majeed was appointed convener of Multan meeting. Irshad Leghari, Abdul Rehman Kanjo, Syed Javed Shah, Noorul Hassan Tanveer, Mehr Ejaz Chalana, Chaudhry Iftikhar, Sheikh Tariq, Hamid Nawaz, Kazim Pirzada and Abdul Ghafoor Dogar were included in the committee.
The meeting expressed happiness and satisfaction over the completion of the reorganization of the provincial constituencies of Punjab.
