The Korangi Causeway, which was closed for traffic due to rainwater that overflowed from the Malir River after the recent downpour in Karachi, has been opened after three days.
The Korangi Causeway was blocked for traffic on Monday (September 2) evening after a surge of rainwater from the Malir River came onto the road as a result of the heavy rainfall in Karachi.
Commuters could only travel to Korangi via the Jam Sadiq Bridge from Qayummabad Chowrangi and KPT Interchange.
Jam Sadiq Bridge witnessed a terrible traffic jam since it was the only route.— INP
