16th Alhamra young artists exhibition concludes

Noted artist Imran Qureshi was all praise for Alhamra Arts Center for holding 16th Annual Alhamra Young Artists Exhibition that concluded here on Tuesday.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, he noted that the “effort of Alhamra in the current situation is commendable and a manifestation of love for art. Alhamra is encouraging the youth even in the present times on which I congratulate the management.”
Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Saman Rai congratulated the winners and said that providing opportunities to artists across the country from this platform led to the promotion of art and artist. Arts and Culture Director Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi said that all resources were being utilized to highlight the talents of the artists.
He said that 500 artworks of 400 young artists from all over the country, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, were on display during the exhibition.
Later, Imran Qureshi and Saman Rai distributed cash prizes and certificates. Top ten position holders include Maleeha Khan, Nasir Farid, Nisa Saeed, Qamar Abbas, Zainab Aziz, Maryam Ansari, Bushra Khalid, Maryam Abdullah and Abida Dhari.
