Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Noor-Ul-Haq Qadri has said that the draft of Paigham-e-Pakistan is ready and it will be tabled in the National Assembly and Senate for the approval after consultations with Ulema. He expressed these views at a conference titled “Interfaith Harmony and Peaceful Coexistence.” Maulana Khawaja Aziz Ahmed, Deputy Ameer of World Council for the Protection of End of Prophethood, Aftab Jahangir, Federal Parliamentary Secretary, Allama Razi Haider Zaidi, General Secretary of Imams of Masjid Ulema-e-Imamia, Khurram Sher Zaman, Member Sindh Assembly Yousuf Kasuri, Director of Dawa Academy Karachi Maulana Syed Aziz-ur-Rehman, Maulana Jameel-ur-Rehman Farooqi, Maulana Khalil-ur-Rehman Javed of Central Jamiat-e-Ahl-e-Hadith and Mufti Muhammad Adil of Sailani Welfare and others also addressed the gathering. He said it was feared that hostile elements in the country are active in religious riots during Muharram. We contacted the scholars of all schools of thought and took steps to remedy the situation. Karachi is not only Pakistan’s economic Hub is also a religious capital. He said that the situation in Karachi has positive and negative effects all over the country. He said that Shia and Sunni ideological differences have existed for centuries and both are in the world with their stand. He said that Allama Shabbir Ahmad Usmani, Maulana Hamid Badawi and others. did not ask about the creed of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Liaquat Ali Khan at the time of establishment of Pakistan but fought together for the Islamic State. “It is true that the message of Pakistan is a great effort in which thousands of scholars have issued Fatwas and now we are making it better and legalizing it and getting it passed by the National Assembly in the form of a bill soon,” he said. The heart of the Muslims was touched by the very ugly talk of one person regarding Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq. But I am telling in this conference that the first reaction against it was given to me by Allama Sajid Naqvi and Allama Wahidi and from me. When contacted, he said, “We have to stop such people and we are disgusted with their actions.” “Anyone involved in this crime will not be pardoned. This person is a national criminal and I would say that wherever he is, he should be handcuffed,” he said. Social media is sedition and promotes hatred and ignites in moments we have to fight it, he asked the scholars to be careful in their Friday sermons as external forces are trying to cause religious riots in the country. And they have tried to fight the other classes, but now they have turned to the religious class. Maulana Khawaja Aziz Ahmed, Deputy Emir of the World Council for the Protection of End of Prophethood, said that investigations were underway against those involved in insulting the Companions and Ahl-e-Bayt and strict action should be taken against some of them. Mufti Abu Bakr Mohi-ud-Din, Vice Chairman, Majlis-e-Sawt-ul-Islam, said that the Companions and Ahl-e-Bayt are the benefactors of the Muslim Ummah. Through their hard work, this religion has reached us.
