Boxer Amir Khan arrives in Pakistan for a major fight

British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has arrived in Islamabad for the biggest-ever Boxing Championship in the history of Pakistan being arranged by the Amir Khan Academy in the Pakistani federal capital on 3rd October. Amir Khan arrived with her wife Faryal Makhdoom. Amir Khan will have a bout for Usman Wazeer ‘The Asian Boy’ Title. Pakistani boxers are also taking part in the championship. It is pertinent to note that Amir is a former unified light-welterweight world champion, having held the WBA (later Super) title from 2009 to 2012, and the IBF title in 2011.—INP
