Sindh Minister for Local Government Nasir Hussain Shah has said that due to the efforts of Sindh government, scholars of all schools of thought have agreed to promote brotherly religious harmony and end hatred. He expressed these views in the Sindh Assembly on Wednesday along with Sindh Chief Minister’s Adviser on Law, Environment, Climate Change, Coastal Development and Sindh Government Spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab. On the occasion, the Information Minister said that decisions were also taken in the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday to provide facilities and relief to the people and various suggestions were put forward in this regard. Talking about gas cut-off, he said that an impression was being given that Sindh was facing shortage of gas due to which Sindh needed 1800 MGD while the province needed 1050 MGD of gas. “The PTI’s method has been to shift all its shortcomings to the Sindh government.” Nasir Hussain Shah said that special relief package will be given to the flood affected districts of Sindh. The government will not leave the flood victims alone, will help them in every possible way and will cure their sufferings. The monsoon floods have affected millions of people in Sindh province, made them homeless, as well as affected millions of animals who need immediate help, so they should be helped, the provincial minister said. Many MPAs have also been affected. The use of gas cylinders has been banned in consultation with the Chief Minister of Sindh, he said. The management authority is working there, there is a lot of improvement compared to other areas, while the performance of Solidwaste is being further improved. The people of Kashmir are in dire need of all political expediency at such a time. The Sindh government has shown the best performance of all the provinces in terms of wheat crop. The shortage of wheat was due to the incompetence of the federation, wheat was smuggled abroad by their influential people. If there is a shortage of flour in any province, the Sindh government is held responsible. In response to a question, he said that they will find a way to solve the problems of teachers,adding that PPP gives jobs and does not snatch employments.
