At least 925 Majilis, 188 mourning processions and tributes will be offered to martyrs of Karbala at 126 Imambargahs in Shikarpur district of Sindh while 49 police pickets, out of 245, will be established at entry and exit points of the Shikarpur besides 4622 police personnel, 300 Police and 300 Pak Army personnel will discharge their duties while 284 streets of Shikarpur will also be remained under surveillance to cope with any untoward situation.
Agencies have declared 20 Majils extreme sensitive, 75 sensitive, 830 out of 925 Majilis have been declared as normal. Besides, 11 Imambargahs out of 126 have been declared as very sensitive. The newly posted police chief Shikarpur Dr Rizwan Ahmed Khan has also summoned further Police, Rangers and Pak Army personnel to avoid any loss during Muharram Sharif.
These Imambargahs are declared as extreme sensitive: Central Imambargah Karbla Mola Lakhi gate, Imambargah Shah-e-Najaf Hydri Muhalla, Imambargah Mehdi near Haji Latif Shah, Imambargah Jhangle Shah, Imambargah Punj Pir Hathi gate in Shikarpur city.
Imambargah Jawadia, Imambargah village Khahi, Imambargah Chak Town, Imambargah village Abdu in taluka Lakhi Ghulam Shah. Central Imambargah in Khanpur taluka. Imambargah Dakhan Town taluka Garhi Yasin. The Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana, Irfan Baloch, keeping an eye over threats, visited Shikarpur.
