Administrator Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani has said that a grand marathon race will be organized in Karachi in which citizens will be invited to participate. Promoting healthy and constructive activities in the city is the top priority for which all possible steps are being taken, he said while talking to a 20-member delegation from various sports organizations which met him at his office on Wednesday. The Administrator said that they have been working for the promotion of various sports in Karachi before and will continue to sponsor and guide sports activities. Administrator Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani said that earlier Pakistan Super League matches were successfully held in Karachi and two marathon races were also held in Karachi in which a large number of citizens participated and expressed full enthusiasm, hopefully. Administrator Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani said that sports organizations should participate in the promotion of positive and constructive activities and continue to encourage young athletes as much as possible. He said that the country would have the best talent and the national flag would be hoisted at the international level. He said that Karachi has produced the best players in every sport and sports organizations have played a very active role in their training.
