Residents of village Gul Imam Monday expressed their deep resentments over excessive crimes in their area and demanded of the high ups of police to take stock of the situation. A meeting of local elders held at village Gul Imam and largely attended by residents of village Gul Imam and its neighboring villages strongly criticized the performance of police for not taking concrete steps to stop the growing rate of crimes.
Sheikh Ubaidullah, Sheikh Riaz, Ramzan Khan, Rizwan Kundi and other speakers of the Jirga (meeting) set a deadline of three days for restoration of peace saying police failed to maintain peace in their area despite repeated complaints by locals.
