Senior leader PPP and member Central Executive Committee (CEC) Nawab Muhammad Yousuf Talpur has begun to reap the benefits for fighting the case of Sindh, especially Umerkot, in the National Assembly. Chairman NDMA Lt. Gen. Afzal Khan telephoned Nawab Yousuf Talpur and inquired about the damage caused by the recent rains in Umerkot and assured all possible cooperation. According to details, in the National Assembly session held a few days ago, Nawab Muhammad Yousuf Talpur had raised the issue of the damage caused by the recent torrential rains in Sindh, especially in Umerkot. Highlighting the problems of Umerkot in the National Assembly, while Mr. Talpur mentioned the shortcomings of the federal government, he also raised the issue of non-provision of any relief by the NDMA. After the issue of NDMA was raised by him, Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Afzal Khan telephoned Nawab Muhammad Yusuf Talpur. Mr. Talpur apprised the Chairman NDMNA of the devastation caused by the recent torrential rains in Umerkot. Chairman NDMNA assured him that NDMNA would extend all possible help and cooperation to provide relief to the people of Umerkot. The Chairman NDMNA assured that the talukas of Umerkot, Kunri, Pithoro and Samaru would conduct a survey of the damages as soon as possible.
