Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Wednesday forecast hot and dry weather likely to prevail in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa, upper Sindh and Gilgit Baltistan, a MET office reported.
Rainfall (mm): Punjab: Noorpurthal 04, Gilgit-Baltistan: Bagrote, Gilgit 01, Khyber pakhtunkhwa: Dir 01. Maximum temperature’s recorded (°C): Turbat 44°C, Dadu and Sukur 41°C. The local Met Office has forecast a dry to partly cloudy and hot weather for city for next 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature 40 centigrades and the lowest minimum 27 centigrades were recorded during last 24 hours.—APP
