Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Tuesday that the plan of political opponents to put a brake on indiscriminate accountability will fail, saying that the APC by the opposition is being taken in vain.
Governor Ch Sarwar was talking to Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, a member of Tehreek-e-Insaf and former special assistant to PM on Information who called on him at Governor House. They discussed matters of mutual interest political and other national issues.
During the meeting, the Punjab governor said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is a staunch leader and will not come under the pressure of the opposition. No compromise will be made and impartial and transparent accountability will be maintained in all cases. Chaudhry Sarwar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will never compromise on the set principles even if opposition parties put pressure. The plan of political opponents to put a brake on indiscriminate accountability will fail. The world is acknowledging the achievements of the government in the economic field.
The governor said that the accused in the Motorway woman case deserves only severe punishment. The government has zero tolerance policy against the culprits and terrorists. They will be given such severe Capital punishment as per the constitution and law so no one has dared to do it again across the country.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that through the successful smart lockdown policy of Prime Minister Imran Khan, we have controlled Corona in Pakistan but Corona is coming back in the world so there is a danger of Corona in Pakistan as well that’s why SOPs should be implemented in universities and schools to prevent the spread of Corona at any cost. He further said that India's ambitions on the issue of FATF would be thwarted.
On the diplomatic and economic front, Pakistan is gaining ground in the world and Pakistan would continue to move forward successfully on all important platforms.
MINISTER GIVES JOB TO GRANDSON OF LEGEND
Fulfilling his promise Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti has given a job to grandson of legendary wrestler Din Muhammad in Sports Board Punjab.
Faisal Ali, a grandson of wrestling legend Din Muhammad, who clinched historic gold medal for Pakistan in 1954 Asian Games, called on Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti at National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.
It may be recalled here that Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti had promised to give employment to one person of wrestler Din Muhammad’s family when he visited the residence of elderly wrestler in May this year. Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti had also awarded a cheque and appreciation certificate to him on that occasion.
