President Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) Women Wing, Mrs Farrukh Khan and other party leaders strongly condemning the Lahore Motorway rape incident have demanded to award strict punishment to culprits involved in the incident.
In a joint statement issued here on Sunday, Mrs Farrukh Khan, Riffat Sarwar, Fozia Naz, Lubna Qureshi, Amina Khanum, Farhat Riyat, Bushra Firdous and other showing strong reaction over the Lahore Motorway rape case said that it was responsibility of the government to provide protection to every woman which should be fulfilled.
They said that gang rape culprits come under terrorism, the institution concerned should complete the investigation immediately and they culprits should be produced in court for strict action against them.
The PML-Q Women Wing leaders said that Opposition parties instead of politicizing the issue should support government for legislation and express sympathies with the victim family.
