A girl was allegedly gang-raped by three persons when as she was returning after attending a marriage ceremony, reported a private TV on Sunday.
The report quoting police, said that in the incident occurred in Chak 7 BC, Bahawalpur district where the victim girl was on the way back after attending a wedding when the accused abducted her.
The girl told the police that the three accused raped and threatened to kill her if she informed the police regarding the incident. The police confirmed the incident and said that they had shifted the victim to hospital for medical examination.
In another incident, a woman was allegedly raped here in the remit of Shalimar Police, an FIR registered by the victim’s brother read.
According to police, the complainant while narrating the entire episode, said his sister visited him on the day of the incident, bringing some Rs50,000 to buy a rickshaw for him.
“I used to earn money through a rented rickshaw and decided to purchase my own vehicle,” he said and added that his sister brought money for the purpose when a person who accompanied her during the journey from Pakpattan to Lahore committed the heinous act.
The FIR said g that he went out on the day of the incident to run his rickshaw and found his sister and her daughter in an unconscious situation after returning from the work.
The woman told her brother that she was raped by the accused Iqbal after intoxication and her daughter. “He also took away a gold chain and a purse carrying Rs50,000.” the FIR alleged.
The brother demanded of the police to arrest the culprit, who he said had run away to his village.
