Srinagar
In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights (IFJHR), Mohammad Ahsan Untoo has welcomed the statements of United Nations Special Rappoteur on Human Rights and Human Rights Watch, asking India to stop heinous rights’ abuses.
Mohammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the Indian forces had created an atmosphere of fear which had wrecked the mental health of millions of kashmiris, particulerly youth. The Indian forces personnel, under the garb of searches, are killing innocent youth on daily basis and are on the path of a massacre, which needed to be stopped immediately, he added.
He said that the IFJHR had been approaching the international human rights organisations and was exposing the grave crimes against Kashmiris by the Indian forces. “These fresh reports need to be taken seriously and process of sanctions should be initiated against the perpetrators of these crimes,” he maintained.—KMS
