Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday refused to accept the resignation of his aide on information and broadcasting, Lt-Gen (Retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa. This comes in the wake of allegations regarding his family’s assets.
Confirming the development in a tweet, Senator Faisal Javed Khan said the premier had directed Bajwa to continue working as his aide.
Meanwhile, the official PTI Twitter account quoted the premier as saying that he was satisfied with the evidence provided by Bajwa about his family’s assets.
He also directed him to continue working as the SAPM on information and broadcasting, the tweet said.
