Muharam processions end peacefully in Tank

All three mourning processions of 10th Muharam ended peacefully after reaching their designated destinations amid tight security arrangements in Tank.
Alam and Zuljanah mourning processions were taken out in Tank city, Gara Baloch and Gara Norang. Foolproof security arrangements were made for the security of all mourning processions.
A large contingent of Police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) was deployed at all three sectors backed by the expert shooters of police who were positioned at top of the roofs at certain sensitive areas. The overall security arrangements were monitored by FC sector commander south and District Police Officer.
Meanwhile, cellular phone service remained suspended in the entire district. On peaceful observance of Youm e Ashur, Deputy Commissioner Kabir Afridi, DPO Muhammad Arif and commander FC sector headquarters south lauded the patience and resilience of scholars from both Sunni and Shia sects.
