Schools Association welcomes loan scheme for educational institutions

The Serving Schools Association of Pakistan has welcomed easy loan scheme for private educational institutions by the Federation and Punjab. President of the association Mian Razaur Rehman said that according to details, the government announced easy loans to finance private educational institutions. The Serving Schools Association of Pakistan thanked the federation and Punjab. Mian Raza said that easy loan scheme for private educational institutions is welcome. He thanked Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood for raising the issue in the House.
He said that getting easy loans would help in solving the economic problems faced by private schools. He thanked the Punjab government for removing the condition of corona test on teachers. Mian Razaur Rehman further said that the decision to extend the registration date for the ninth class would benefit millions of children.
He said that 4th class should also be started from September 15 from the playgroup. The federation and Punjab have fulfilled our long standing demands.
It is to be noted that closed educational institutions have been closed due to Corona virus. Policies have been changed keeping in view the situation under which all public and private schools will be reopened on September 15, but private institutions had hinted to reopen on August 15. The position of the Director General of Private Schools came up.
Director General of Private Schools, Mansoob Siddiqui, also made a statement in which he clarified that private educational institutions would not be allowed to open from August 15. He said that educational institutions would be opened after government orders.
Director General of Private Schools, Mansoob Siddiqui, had asked parents not to send their children to school from August 15, otherwise legal action would be taken and action would be taken against these schools.
In the meanwhile the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BI&SE) Lahore has extended the registration date of Class IX by one month. Candidates will now be able to register till September 30 this month.
In addition, the Punjab government has decided to teach 60 per cent syllabus to children in schools in the current academic year to deal with the epidemic, while 40 per cent syllabus will be removed as non-essential. Opinions are also being added.
According to sources, an online meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Education Dr. Murad Raas regarding precautionary measures in boarding schools and implementation of SOPs. Principals of 16 Danish schools, 7 cadet schools and Aitchison schools and colleges participated in the meeting.
