Larkana is thought to be a stronghold of Pakistan People’s Party and from the beginning till today the Party has the reputation of winning every election. However, in the general election 2018 PPP lost its Provincial Assembly seat {PS-11} against GDA leader Mozam Ali Khan Abbassi.
The National Assembly seat {NA-200} was bagged by Bilawal Zardari but party leaders and workers were looking upset due to loss of provincial seat but now as Supreme Court has ordered re-election in PA constituency, Larkana has become battleground once again. This time Aseefa Zardari will contest for PS-11 in the re-election. This is good news for Larkanites that a daughter of Banazir Bhutto is going to stand from Larkana and will represent Larkana in SA. But as a base of PPP, Larkana is not that beautiful as it should have been.
The education and health system is totally in disarray. Bilawal Zardari has not talked about any main issue of Larkana in the National Assembly. I request leadership of the Party that please pay some attention to Larkana because this is the place from where a biggest democratic party of Pakistan had emerged.
