The Pakistan Mission at the UN has given a statement about India’s state terrorism and support to terror outfits at a Security Council debate. This was in a report of the Secretary General on Threats to International Peace and Security posed by Terrorism Actions. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has highlighted the presence of ISIL/Da’esh in India, saying the terrorist group is operating from Karnataka and Kerala and poses a threat to regional peace and security. India earlier denied any submission on Pakistan side but Pakistan Permanent mission in United Nations busted Indian claim and shared statement of Security Council Secretariat Branch which confirms receiving the statement .
Political and peace building affairs department said in a statement that it (Pakistan statement) will be issued as an official document of UNSC as part of the compilation document containing the interventions of the briefers and those of council members and non council members participating in the VTC on the threats to international peace and security caused by terrorist acts .
Head of the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism Vladimir Voronkov presented biennial report on ISIL’s impact on international peace and security to the UN Security Council on Monday .
According to diplomatic sources, the Indian citizens have also been found involved in terror attacks in Afghanistan and it has raised an alarm at the UN over the growth of ISIL in India and Afghanistan. Voronkov also told the Security Council that ISIL’s affiliate ISIL-Khorassan has nearly 2,200 members in Afghanistanand it is capable of high-profile attacks . Using Afghan territory as a base for spreading terrorist influence in the region, “ISIL-K seeks to pursue a global agenda by implementing the approach of the ISIL core. The Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan operating from Afghanistan, is actively cooperating with ISIL-K, with some TTP elements even trying to merge with ISIL-K in Afghanistan.
The secretary-general’s report is the third in a series that have highlighted the TTP threat to Pakistan from Afghanistan. Pakistan Permanent Ambassador to the UN, Munir Akram have repeatedly argued that TTP is being facilitated by India. In a recent Council debate on the nexus between terrorism and organized crime, Ambassador Akram called India the “fountainhead of terrorism” in the region ,he said no amount of Indian obfuscation can hide the facts.
Pakistan envoy said India has incarcerated more than 8 million Kashmiris in an open prison since August 5 2019 but Kashmiris will never accept Indian subjugation adding that the Security Council resolutions, the statements of the UN and the fact that the Council held three meetings on this issue make it clear to all that Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is an international dispute.
India is ruled by the fascists Hindutva ideologuesa and Muslims are attacked and lynched in India. Muslims killing in Delhi riots of February 2020 by the saffron terrorists is for all to see. Narendra Modi was denied entry in most Western Countries for his involvements in the Gujrat massacre of 2002 in which hundreds of Muslims were killed
