Interior Minister Brigadier (Retd) Ijaz Ahmad Shah’s bother Pir Tariq Ahmed Shah passed away on Monday. His last rites will be offered in his native village Nabi Pur Piran in district Nankana Sahib
It is pertinent to note that Pir Tariq Ahmed Shah was elected president of Nankana District Bar Association on 12 January this year with support of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Pir Tariq Ahmed Shah secured victory by getting 379 votes against Rai Qasim Mushtaq who got 254 votes.

Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda expressed their condolences on the demise of Pir Tariq Ahmed Shah and prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased, elevation of his ranks in heavens and patience for the bereaved family.
On 26 July, Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmad Shah’s younger brother Pir Hassan Ahmad Shah also passed away. Pir Hassan Ahmad Shah aka Papu Shah was shifted to Mayo Hospital, Lahore where he breathed his last. Later, his dead body was shifted to his native village Nabi Pur Piran in district Nankana Sahib.
