Engro Fertilizers has launched its second mobile soil sampling laboratory on the country’s 73rd independence day. This move is aimed at addressing the issue of food security amid low agriculture productivity and fasting increasing population likely to double within next thirty years. The launch was done at a ceremony held in Tando Muhammad Khan town of Sindh, which was attended by President, Sindh Abaadgaar Board Abdul Majeed Nizamani, Senior Vice President of the board Mehmood Nawaz Shah, Director General of Sindh Agriculture Extension Department, Hidayatullah Chhajro, Chairman, Soil Science Department of Sindh, Agriculture University Ghulam Murtaza Jamro, Engro Fertlizers’ Chief Executive Officer Nadir Salar Qureshi and its Chief Commercial Officer Aamir Iqbal besides prominent farmers and dealers of agriculture produce, said Engro release here on Tuesday.
