NAB recoversRs71b in 20 months: Chairman

Chairman, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice Javed Iqbal has said that during the last 20 Months, NAB has directly and indirectly recovered Rs 71 Billion from corrupt elements and the same has either been submitted into Government exchequer or returned to affectees concerned.
He also termed this effort as a record achievement which has been displayed by NAB. He visited on Thursday Regional Bureau Lahore to review its overall performance. He was briefed, in detail, by Director General (DG) NAB Lahore Mr. Shahzad Saleem over cases pertaining to Mega Corruption Scams and White Collar Crime being under investigation in the Regional Bureau.
