The 73rd Independence Day celebrated with commemorative ceremonies in Zhob and neighboring district Sherani. The celebration ceremonies were organized by district administration with national fervour and exuberance. The main function, a flag hoisting event held at the DPO office. Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem flanked by SP Fahad Khosa, Superintendent Central Jail Khuram Riaz, officials and civil society members hoisted the national flag. A ceremony hosted by Voice of Balochistan (VOB) was attended by DC Taha Saleem, AC Arif Kakar, Tehsildar Abdul Salam Musakhail and Levies officials. Speaking as the chief guest, he said that Pakistan came into being owing to the struggle and sacrifices rendered by our leaders.
