In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities will provide security to nearly a 1000 Panchayat representatives, mostly from south Kashmir.
The authorities have hired hotels, hostels and private residences to provide security to the Panchayat representatives.
They would also get security cover when they visit their constituencies.
Data shows most of the people who will get security are from South Kashmir and a majority of them are from the BJP.—KMS
