9200 illegally stored wheat bags recovered

During the crackdown on wheat hoarders and smugglers, Assistant Commissioner Pindi Bhattian Rashid Iqbal has recovered 9200 bags of wheat stored illegally from Pindi Bhattian, Jalapur Bhattian and other areas Officers of Pasco were also accompanied by him.

Meanwhile, DC Umer FArooq Warraich warned that strict action would be continue indiscriminately till achieving target to procure of 22 lakh sacks of wheat in the district. Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warriach inspected DHQ hospital, special education school and slaughter house, on Monday. While visiting HHQ hospital, DC checked children emergency, general emergency, laboratory, medical, surgery, heath wards, ICU and other departments and reviewed availability medicines and different treatment facilities to patients in the hospital. MS Dr. Bushra Matain and other officers were also accompanied by the DC.

Umer Farooq Warraich warned the health officers, doctors and paramedical staff that any negligence would not be tolerated in provision of medical facilities to the patients. He directed the MS to update patient ticket counter and sitting arrangements also be made for patients coming in the laboratory.

DC also took feedback from patients and their relations regarding provision of free of cost medicines and healthcare facilities in the hospital. During the visit of government special education school and slow learners school, he inspected classrooms and review academic activities and availability of necessary facilities in the schools.
