76th annual Neela Butt celebrations from Aug 23


Celebrations of 76th annual Neela Butt Kashmir Freedom Struggle Start Day will be triggered on Tuesday Aug 23, 2022 with great public enthusiasm amid renewal of resolve to continue Kashmir struggle till accession of whole J&K state to Pakistan, a mission sacred with Kashmiris.

On the occasion Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan ex-premier of AJK and supremo of Muslim Conference will make a special address. Representatives of all Kashmiri political parties will participate in the celebratory events. It was on this day, Aug 23, 1944 75 years ago Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan (1924-2015) at his age of 22 years had started practical phase of Kashmir freedom struggle from Neela Butt Heights earning for him Mujahid-e-Awwal public title.

Azad Kashmir govt has declared Aug 23, 2022 as pulic holiday for massive participation by the people in the observance event. Kashmir freedom movement is now a textbook history.
