7,500kg poppy recovered, two accused arrested



Sukkur Excise Police recovered impounded a truck after recovery of thousands of kilogram poppy and arrested two accused here on Saturday. According to details, Excise Inspector Qamaruddin Sial along with his team searched a suspected truck bearing registration number SEA-597 at Rohri check post in Sukkur.
During search of the vehicle, the police recovered 7,500 poppy and arrested two accused identified as Habib-ur-Rehman and Mohammadan Pattan. The recovered poppy was being used to make opium.—INP
