70 outlaws held with arms, drugs in Hangu

The police arrested 70 outlaws including drug peddlers, recovered weapons and narcotics during separate actions in different areas of Hangu during last three days, police said on Monday.

In line with directives of DPO Hangu Ikramullah Khan, the police teams of the five police stations of the district conducted operations against criminals in jurisdiction of concerned police stations from Saturday to Monday (three days).

During operations, the police arrested 70 outlaws including proclaimed offenders, drug pushers and recovered a Kalashnikov, one rifle, a gun, six pistols, 16 chargers, hundreds of rounds of different bores, 8.220 kilogram hashish, 236 gram Ice, one bottle wine and 117 gram heroin from their possession.

The police confiscated the recovered weapons, narcotics and after registering separate cases against detainees at concerned police stations have started investigation against them.
