Police have arrested seven anti social elements including gamblers and drug peddlers. In the first attemp police arrested five gamblers namely Umar Farooq, Mohammad Safeer, Tahir Habib, Muhammad Islam and Zafar Iqbal from the jurisdiction of Injra police station.
Police also recovered Rs 484370, four cell phones and two bikes from the aforesaid gamblers.
Yet in another attempts police arrested two drug peddlers namely Said Jamal and Zubair from two different locations and recovered 1.3 kg Charas and three bottles of liquor from their possession. Cases under the act have been registered and all have been sent behind the bars.
