Election Commission have established 619 polling stations and 1910 polling booths for casting votes for 8 lakh 10 thousand and 723 male and female registered voters whereas 78 polling stations have been declared sensitive. Official sources told that 194 polling stations for male, 191 for female and 234 combined polling stations have been setup for 4 lakh 39 thousand and 770 male and 3 lakh 70 thousand and 953 voters in the district.
Election Commission have established one Natioal Assembly (NA-67) while three Provincial Assembly constituencies PP-37, PP-38 and PP-39 in the district Hafizabad. There are two lakh forty four and 99 registered voters in the constituency PP-37 Hafizabad-1 and 201 polling stations have been established in this constituency, in constituency PP-38 Hafizabad 2, 210 poling statins have been established for two lakh eighty six thousand and five hundred registered voters whereas in constituency PP-39, 208 poling statis have been setup for two lakh sixty thousand and 732 registered voters.
On polling day, officers of Army and Rangers accompanied by police will be perform duty for holding of election in peaceful atmosphere while a special control room have also been established DC Office and CCTV Cameras would also be installed at sensitive polling stations for monitoring law.
