6,000 cops to check SOPs’ violation in Hazara

At least 6,000 police force is deployed in all the eight districts of Hazara Division by the Hazara police to check the violation of the Covid SOP’s and for the Eid security especially to stop the movement of the tourists in Galiyats and Naran, Kaghan valleyes says PRO of DIG Hazara, Monday.

A high level meeting was held in the office of DIG Hazara MirVas where security arrangements and other matters including promotions of the police staff were discussed.

It was decided to establish 100 “Check Posts” (Naka Bandiyan) who will also keep watch on criminals and special police force in plain cloths will be deployed in Addas, city areas and in the surroundings of the hotels and rest houses.

DIG directed the all the DPO’s for the strict implementation of the SOP’s of the provincial and federal government and had also asked the traffic wardens and traffic police for the comprehensive traffic plan for the smooth running of city traffic. Elite force and Ladies police will be also the part of deployment in the cities.

All the DPO’s were asked to establish control rooms for the strict monitoring of the security plans of their respective districts and to keep close liaison with ULemma’s for the holding of Eid Prayers.

Vas advised the police to behave with the tourists and visitors coming from other parts of the country for the implementation of the SOP’s and to guide the visitors in a polite manner and action will be taken against all those police staff whose dealings remain subjective and harsh.

In another task DIG directed the strict checking of one wheeling and aerial firing on the “Chan Raat” and violators will have to be treated as per law.

In the promotion committee meeting, the cases of 45 sub inspectors were confirmed and 39 ASI’s were promoted to the posts of Sub Inspectors.
