Six police cops including an assistant sub inspector (ASI) were martyred while four police cops including an ASI of Mardan district got injured in suicide blast at Peshawar police line mosque the funeral prayers of the martyred were offered in different parts of the district, sources said.
Sources added that ASI Sher Bahadur resident of Rehman colony Jabbar, HC Sharafatullah resident of Kot Isamilzai Garhi Kapura, FC Irfan resident of Shah Noor Pull Takhatbhai, Constable Mohammad Saeed resident of Kohi Barmool Katlang, constable Khahild Khan resident of Garhi Dowlatzai Gari Kapura, Constable Zahid resident of Ghala dher were martyred in the blast. FC Shahyar resident of Sari bahlool Takhatbhai, SI Usman-ud-Din resident of Ashraf-ud-Din Killy Shergarh, ASI Naveed Ahmed resident of Shah Dahand Lunkhwar, FC Zeeshan resident of Zarif Khan Dhari Katlang got injured in the bomb blast.
Funeral prayers of the martyred police cops were offered in their native villages. Large numbers of people attended the funeral prayer of the martyred cops.
