Algeria has strongly condemned the suicide attack that targeted a mosque in Peshawar and left dozens dead and injured.
Algerian ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad in a press release stated that in this painful circumstance, Algeria extends its sincere condolences to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, leaders and people, as well as its deepest sympathy to the families of the victims, and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.
While expressing its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, terrorism and attacks on places of worship, whatever their motives, Algeria reiterates its call to strengthen action at both the regional and international levels, for the eradication of the scourge of terrorism, which has constantly had a negative impact on peace, security and development in the world.—PR
