Secretary Local Government, Housing and Town Planning Engineer Najam Ahmad Shah has said that the development schemes allocated by the Local Government Department for the year 2021-2022 have covered all the sectors related to public benefit.
He said this while providing information to media men regarding the annual development schemes of the Local Govt Dept.
He said that 577 schemes allotted for the year 2021-2022 have been formulated exclusively for the purpose of public convenience and facilitation with a total value of Rs 35,500 million.
According to Sindh Local Govt Secretary, there are 268 schemes of KWSB 11 schemes of construction, 210 schemes of roads and 6 schemes of solid waste.
Commenting on mega schemes, Najam Ahmad said that 19 mega schemes have been allotted out of which 13 mega schemes are new and 6 mega schemes are continuation of old schemes.
