A woman was killed in the village Sandhanwala located in the precinct of Police Station Pahrianwali. Parveen Bibi went to an under-construction house of her daughter, at a short distance away from the main village, to give a meal to her husband Ghulam Rasul who had gone there at construction site.
When she reached near the house, some unknown persons appeared there from some hide-out and struck stick blows on her head and fled away. The injuries she sustained on her head were fatal; she was taken to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital Gujrat where she succumbed to injuries.
