5,000 Patwaris to be appointed to meet manpower shortage

Punjab Revenue Minister Malik Muhammad Anwar has said that Punjab government is recruiting as many as 5,000 patwaris to meet the shortage of manpower in the Board of Revenue (BoR).

He expressed these views during appointment letter distribution ceremony in Pindigheab town of Attock district on Saturday.

The Minister distributed appointment letters between seven Patwaris of Pindigheeb and three of Fatehjang circle including one woman.

The Minister said that in the first leg of appointment as many as 35,00 Patwaris are appointed in various circles of the province while rest of the vaccines would be fulfilled in phase wise during next one year.

He said that the PLRA in an attempt to improve service delivery and facilitate citizens with regard to land record services has initiated expansion of land record services by establishment of Arazi Record Centres.
