40m approved for schools facilities

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Imran Qureshi on Wednesday said approval had been given for the eight schemes under the Schools Education Department for the provision of missing facilities in certain schools and repair of the dangerous or dilapidated buildings.

While presiding over a meeting of the District Development Committee at Deputy Commissioner Office, the DC Imran Qureshi further said that Rs 40 million would be spent to accomplish eight schemes.

In the meeting work speed regarding the ongoing development projects in Sialkot was also viewed. Meanwhile the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Abdul Rauf Mahar on Wednesday has said that during the last week the special price magistrates collectively conducted 3556 inspections in Sialkot district during which cases were registered against four shop keepers under Price Control Act, whereas fine worth 479000 rupees was collectively imposed on other over chargers.
